Keith Vaz MP and The Co-Operative will be hosting an Eco Town Public Meeting to discuss the plans.

Lynda Shillaw, Managing Director Property, from The Co-Operative Group will lead the presentation.

This meeting will bring together the Evington Councillors, key Leicester City Council officers, residents, school representatives and local stakeholders to discuss the issues of the proposed Eco Town site.

All local residents are invited to attend to listen to a presentation from the Co-operative, ask questions and submit opinions.

This is an excellent opportunity for all concerned parties to communicate with the Co-Operative in regards to the proposed Eco Town.

The Co-operative has recently launched a Masterplan for the eco-town site and a new website www.ecotownforleicestershire.coop. The Masterplan settles on a town layout following public consultation and details their commitments across housing, transport, community, environment, health, education, employment, energy and farming.
